The ERP Manager oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of the ERP department, ensuring that systems, services, and projects work reliably and securely. ERP Manager, lead teams that develop, implement and maintain the ERP Operations environment. The ERP Manager will also respond to escalated requests and monitor system stability and performance. The ERP Manager will work closely with project managers, business analysts, solution architects and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical integration solutions.

This position requires collaborative internal/external consensus skills with proven results- oriented leader with experience in assigning, prioritizing and delegating the work of integration development team in a fast-paced work environment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and execute software development projects/ enhancements from beginning to finish
  • Establish system-specific Service Level Agreements and monitoring
  • Assure users are provided efficient and timely emergency support on a 24/7 basis
  • Assess system performance and provide recommendations
  • Develop daily, weekly and monthly reports on team’s performance
  • Liaise with Project Manager team for project planning and implementation status updates
  • Responsibility to mentor ERP Staff
  • Isolate problem trends and ensure that troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems until permanent solutions are found
  • Provide leadership by projecting a positive attitude, and providing learning incentives
  • Develop and publish ERP policies and procedures
  • Contribute to ERP budget planning and vendor management
  • Potential travel 10-20% (after Covid)

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience as an ERP Manager
  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (French and English)
  • Excellent team management skills
  • Good grasp of DevOps concepts
  • Experience in the development of IT project costs, risks and ROI assessments.

  • Knowledge of DevExpress Component;
  • Strong knowledge of COBOL
  • Some knowledge of Web Services, T-SQL, C#, VB .NET, Visual Studio, Synergy DBL, ASP .NET,
  • Nice to have: Some Javascript framework experience (vue.js/reac/angular)
